I was randomly reading posts on the showmasters forum when someone linked to a post in different sub-fourm (One about Eclipse) which happened to say "also this year we have less signing event no manchester this year which is two dates"... Apart from the lack of grammar and being unable to truly understand this sentance it doesn't look good.... Mainly the 'No manchester this year.'

I've been keeping an eye on the Showmasters forum and low and behold after who knows how long showmasters have finally given us a reply concerning this years event... And here's what they have to say....

"this is a hard year for most businesses in the UK and in till thing get a little better we will not be announcing a date for 2009

Manchester has always been a hard town to brake even on and we lost money at every event we ran there

we do still intend to run an event there this year so let see how the next few months work out

just thought i would keep you all in the loop

That's good news in the fact there will be an event this year... And it's more then we knew before so i'm feeling postive about this now ^_^

The reason i'm putting the list back up is... well people actually have to make the costumes and for silly people like me who's making two for the same event... (I'll eventually teach my boyfriend to sew lol)
